This Season, Auckland Paddlefest Event #7 will double as the New Zealand SUP Technical Championships. All Auckland Paddlefest Season pass holders will have their entry included.
RACE DIVISIONS
ADULTS 5km-6km SUP (14ft & under)
This division is classed as the Overall New Zealand Technical Championship race. The first male and female to cross the line in this race will be crowned the National Technical Champions. Age group winners will also be recognised. Age Categories include 19-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over for both male and female.
YOUTH Under 19 3km-4km SUP (14ft & under)
This division is classed as the Youth New Zealand Technical Championship race. The first Under 19 male and female to cross the line in this race will be crowned the Youth National Technical Champions.
ADULTS 7.5km Ski Paddle
No age categories due to it being historically a smaller division. There is a male and female division however. Please note this race will be held on the alternative weekend day (the Shoe Island Challenge Day) and is not a National Title race for Ski Paddle.
